The Old School House

What the project involved

We undertook the complete renovation and refurbishment of this former Old School House, transforming the property into a beautiful, comfortable and modern family home while retaining its original character and charm.

The project involved extensive renovation works throughout the property, from the initial strip-out and preparation through to the final finishing touches. We carefully managed each stage of the build, carrying out structural and building works alongside the installation of new plumbing, electrics, insulation, heating and other essential services.

Internally, the property was completely refurbished, including new flooring, plastering, decorating, doors, kitchens, bathrooms and bespoke finishing details, re-joisting the first floor and relocating stairs to suit the client’s specification. Particular attention was given to combining modern living requirements with the character and features of the original building.

Working closely with the client throughout the project, we coordinated the works from start to finish, ensuring the renovation was completed to their specification, delivering a finished property ready for holiday let.

The result

The finished result is a fully transformed home that successfully combines the history and character of the original Old School House with modern comfort, functionality and quality craftsmanship.
